Beautiful Chinese Doll with realistic hair and cloths. Excellent detail on the face common to these great collectable dolls.
The pipa is a pear shaped plucking instrument similar to the lute. A similar instrument is common in Japan.
The American rock band Incubus have used a pipa before in their music.
